This is the biggest transition we’ve ever made, but already Madrid feels like home!
So much has happened since my last post. Before we left we had two going away parties, spent a lot of time with our families, and on our last Sunday church service we got the opportunity to give a communion message.
Through all of this, there has been a lot of tears leaving Baltimore, or the states for that matter. Especially because of the fact that we aren’t able to see our families as easily as before. We left our lives behind for a lot of maybe’s which couldn’t be done without God’s help. We’ve had to rely on God for everything!
In turn what God has done is given us more than we’ve expected, for example American football. Although we are in a different country somehow we are able to still watch football… Who knew?! (Just when I thought we left football behind ugh)
Something else we didn’t expect was the jet lag being this bad. I haven’t slept soundly since we arrived. Patrick and I get up so late, I mean 12:30pm and 2:00pm late. Hopefully melatonin and some prayer helps us out.
There will be more updates to come, so don’t forget to follow this blog for more. Follow us as we live with having no place to lay!
